In December 2025, the CFH Group held its annual international conference, which provided important impulses for the future direction of the group.

Technical presentations on the group's products offered exciting insights into current developments and future innovations. This underscores the commitment of CFH and its subsidiaries to always offer customers high-performance, future-oriented solutions.

The exchange with a high-ranking delegation from Shandong Energy / Yankuang Energy and with international representatives of the SMT Scharf Group was particularly enriching.

Finally, the importance of an even more intensive ‘cross-company’ exchange of information was emphasized to bundle the know-how within the group in a targeted manner. Customers will thus be able to benefit from even closer and more efficient cooperation between all companies in the future.

Technical revolution in dust filters with compressed air cleaning

DELA is the logical further development of the compressed air cleaning system in dust filters. Enormous savings in compressed air consumption are achieved by optimising the valve technology and making adjustments to the flow technology.

Thanks to this optimisation, a cleaning pressure of only 3-4 bar is required.

CFH GmbH, based in Marl, Germany, announces the successful completion of two significant strategic transactions.

First, Yancoal International Holding Co., Ltd., a company of the Chinese Yankuang Energy Group and Shandong Energy Group, has acquired 51 % of the shares in CFH GmbH. Second, CFH GmbH has acquired a 51 % stake in the Turkish fan manufacturer AIRONN.

Yancoal International's investment represents an important milestone in CFH GmbH's international growth strategy. The partnership opens up new opportunities for technological innovation, global market presence, and sustainable development.

“We are delighted to have gained a partner in Yancoal International that shares our technological ambitions and our vision of a sustainable future,” said the management of CFH GmbH. “This collaboration strengthens our international position and enables us to deploy our solutions even more effectively worldwide.”

Yancoal International brings extensive experience in global resource allocation and industrial cooperation to the table. Together with CFH, the aim is to set new standards in the development of intelligent ventilation and environmental technologies – especially for applications in mining, tunnel construction and industry.

As part of its international expansion, CFH GmbH has also acquired a 51% stake in AIRONN, a leading manufacturer of ventilation systems based in Turkey.

AIRONN ideally complements CFH GmbH's product portfolio and expands its market presence, particularly with axial fans for building ventilation and tunnel ventilation. The use of AIRONN's established sales networks opens cross-selling potential for both sides and accelerates order intake in several regions.

With these strategic partnerships, CFH GmbH is sending a strong signal for international cooperation, technological excellence, and sustainable growth - with the aim of strengthening the successful development of the company in Germany and CFH's international subsidiaries in the long term. On Friday, 16 June 2023, the time had come at Neckarstraße 23 in Marl - around 130 invited guests were eagerly waiting for the official inauguration ceremony of the new site and the launch of the new fan test stand to begin.

"The test stand at our new location is the largest chamber test stand in Europe," says Jens Kegenhoff, Technical Manager of CFT GmbH. "With it, we can test fans up to an impeller diameter of 4.50 m and a drive power of more than three megawatts in compliance with the standards."

The guests are also visibly impressed - the 7 m high and 13 m deep concrete test chamber, which is also embedded 1 m deep in the floor, towers up into the production hall like a cathedral.

In addition to introductory words by the managing partner of CFH, Dr. Reinhold Both, and technical speeches, the programme also included the official blessing of the test stand by Pastor Georg Rücker, stadium pastor of FC Schalke 04.

This was followed by the most exciting part of the programme - the launch of the test stand, the technical measurement results of which were displayed to the guests on a large monitor. But the air movement and acoustics in the hall also spoke for themselves, because depending on the type of fan being tested, large air velocities of up to over 2.5 million m³ of air per hour are generated here.

Finally, the test chamber with its flow rectifier and state-of-the-art measurement technology could be visited.

"From the afternoon onwards, all employees of our German locations and their companions are also invited to the inauguration ceremony," Dr Both announced. "Still at the old location in Gladbeck, I said that I was particularly looking forward to the first celebration in the new building."

In the framework of the BMBF-funded RePhoR joint project AMPHORE, the construction and operation of the demonstration plant at the Bottrop wastewater treatment plant (EGLV) was approved by the responsible authority under immission control law.

The owner and operator of the plant is PhosRec Phosphor-Recycling GmbH, Bottrop, a company of the water associations Emschergenossenschaft, Lippeverband, Ruhrverband, Wupperverband and Linksniederrheinische Entwässerungs-Genossenschaft.

The plant implements the patented PARFORCE-Technology® of PARFORCE Engineering & Consulting GmbH, Freiberg, as a large-scale pilot plant. With PARFORCE-Technology®, the basic chemical phosphoric acid can be obtained from sewage sludge ashes.

The CFH Group is pleased to be significantly involved in this sustainability project with the PARFORCE-Technology Cooperation GmbH (PTC).

The research project "Regional sewage sludge and ash management for phosphorus recycling for a metropolitan area" (AMPHORE), with which PARFORCE-Technology Cooperation GmbH (PTC) was commissioned, has entered the implementation phase after a successful first project phase.

PTC is a joint venture of the CFH Group and PARFORCE Engineering and Consulting.

We are pleased to announce that CFH Group has taken over the sales divisions Road Tunnel Ventilation and Metro & Rail Ventilation from DLK Ventilatoren GmbH in Schöntal, Germany, with effect from 1^st November 2021.

The sales activities as well as the entire order processing of jet fans and smoke extraction fans for tunnels and metros will be carried out exclusively by CFT GmbH immediately.

The acquired fan technology is based on more than 50 years of competence in the construction of industrial and smoke extraction fans from the brand manufacturer DLK Ventilatoren GmbH.

The acquisition concerns the SATM and SARM product ranges for fire protection classes F300 and F400. The tunnel jet fans (SATM series) are available in sizes from 630 to 1,600 mm and the reversible smoke extract fans (SARM series) in sizes from 1,000 to 2,500 mm.

With the latest new development of its subsidiary DFT Deichmann Filtertechnik, the CFH Group is taking another innovative leap in the field of industrial dedusting.

The Deichmann KJF compact filter with the new patented DELA cleaning system not only reduces costs for the customer, but also optimizes efficiency and filter results at the same time.

DELA stands for Decentralized, Energy efficient, Low-pressure and ATEX compliant. The system operates autonomously on site and does not require an external compressed air connection. DELA is the logical further development of the pressurized exhaust air cleaning system in dedusting plants.

CFH Group and PARFORCE Engineering & Consulting GmbH are pleased to announce the launch of a joint subsidiary, PTC - PARFORCE-Technology Cooperation GmbH.

Together we engineer, build and operate industrial plants for the recovery of phosphorus from effluents containing phosphate such as sewage sludge ash according to the German Sewage Sludge Act (AbfKlärV).

By the end of 2023, operators of wastewater treatment plants must submit their concept to the authorities for implementing their phosphorus recovery obligation, which will apply from 01.01.2029.

In the EU, phosphorus is considered to be a critical raw material. The production of phosphoric acid from waste streams helps to preserve natural resources and support a recycling economy.

Korfmann Lufttechnik GmbH based in Witten took over the fan manufacturing division of Maschinenfabrik Korfmann GmbH in 2001 and since then has specialised in the design and sales of fan systems for underground use. Since 2001, all Korfmann fans and silencers have been manufactured exclusively by CFT.

This means that CFT and Korfmann can look back on a successful cooperation over many years. Since 2001, nearly 6,000 Korfmann fans have been successfully designed and delivered for mining and tunnelling applications worldwide. Furthermore, in recent years, CFT and Korfmann have successfully implemented ventilation projects for main mine fans with impeller diameters up to 3.35 m.

With effect from 1st January 2021, all sales activities relating to ventilation will be handled via CFT. Customers and business partners will be informed in a timely manner.

The CFH Group is very proud of the newly founded ‘CFH Airtechnic Australia Pty Ltd’ based in Sydney.

The CFH Group has been active on the fifth continent for many years and has successfully completed numerous projects there.

Together with our business partner, ‘Ribba Pty Ltd’, CFH has laid the foundation for a successful expansion of the Australian business activities.

‘With the foundation of CFH Australia, we are able to offer the full product portfolio of the CFH Group to our Australian customers’, explains Markus Thomeczek, Managing Director of CFH Australia. ‘The new company encompasses the concept of local service and includes an exclusive repair business for supplying refurbished dedusting units from the local market.’

The first used dedusting units have already been refurbished, delivered and successfully commissioned on site in Brisbane.

Our CEO & Partner of CFH, Dr Reinhold Both, gladly accepted the invitation of the Chinese Industry and Trade Association (CIHD) for supporting this year's German-Chinese Economic Forum with his expertise in a constructive panel discussion. The discussion was held on the topic of "Cooperation and investment for German companies within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road Initiative". This initiative strengthens the economic cooperation between China and Europe, in particular Germany, and deepens exchanges and learnings between the two economies and cultures.

CFT has many years of experience with the Chinese sales market and continues to expand its commitment in the future. Dr Both reported on these experiences to the attendant German and Chinese entrepreneurs. With the recent establishment of the Chinese subsidiary CFH (Shanxi) Technology, the CFH Group will strengthen its presence in China in the future.

We don't receive such a visit every day - on 15^th August 2019 we were able to welcome the Minister of Economics, Innovation, Digitisation and Energy of NRW, Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, at our headquarter in Gladbeck. We are very pleased that he accepted Dr. Reinhold Both's invitation.

The Minister was accompanied by Michael Hübner, MdL, Member of the State Parliament responsible for the Gladbeck location, and Thomas Masurek from the Ministry's ‘Mechanical and Plant Engineering, Production, Automotive, Metals, Paper’ department.

During the visit we presented the portfolio of the CFH Group and took the opportunity to report from our experience in the field - including the challenges we face in the global market.

During a visit to our production halls, the Minister was able to get an impression of the dimensions of our projects. Among other things, he could marvel at a main mine fan and a shaft ventilation system in container design.

Prof. Pinkwart: ‘CFT GmbH has been manufacturing innovative products for dedusting, ventilation, cooling and heating for 20 years now. With more than 100 employees, the company is a reliable partner for industry and an important employer in the northern Ruhr area. I wish you every success in your forthcoming relocation to Marl’.

For 20 years we have been supplying ventilation systems for mining and tunnelling - still made in Germany. This was a reason for our employees to celebrate with our national and international business partners and CFT friends. And that, in keeping with our mining roots, on the grounds of the Zollverein colliery, a world cultural heritage site in Essen.

It was a very enjoyable and exuberant evening, which will be remembered for a long time.

We are glad that we could do something good with our company anniversary. We are very grateful for the numerous donations to the Nikolaushaus in Kemondo.

CFT Kazakhstan and CFT Polska, both companies of the CFH Group, are celebrating their anniversary this year. For 10 years now, they have been part of the CFH Group, supporting customers and realizing projects in their regions. They are also an important part of the CFH Group's service network.

We personally congratulated and celebrated on site. They were very nice evenings which were more than worthy of the occasion.
